Met up with Jon and Amy today at the East Lodge hotel in Rowsley near Bakewell to do their pre wedding photography.The hotel has some amazing grounds in which to have some great wedding photography.They have a parvillon so you can now get married outside there. Jon and Amy are such a nice couple they soon got into the swing of things and I got some great photographs of the two of them. Looking forward to photographing their wedding in june!

Met up with Jamie and Sarah today at Bolsover castle to chat about their wedding day. Had a walk around their wedding venue to show them the best places to have their photographs taken.Bolsover castle is such an amazing place in which to have a wedding, you can't really go wrong as there are so many places you can go and are so spoilt for choice!.As we went round we stopped and did a few photographs, they soon relaxed and started to enjoy themselves .The only down side it was blowing a gale and quite cold but dispite that the pre wedding photograpy went well.Looking forward to their wedding day!

Met up with Paul and Rachael to do their pre wedding shoot at Ringwood hall Hotel in chesterfield, the best venue in chesterfield to have a wedding. It has 29 acres of grounds in which to get lots of different backdrops for your wedding photography.As we had a walk round the grounds together we stopped at the italian garden, then went onto the bowling green and finished off in the arch way in the rose garden. As you can see they are very happy together, I did'nt have to try too hard to get some natural photographs! Can't wait to do their wedding, they are such a lovely couple,lets hope they get the weather!

Met up with Kathryn and Andrew at Hodsock Priory in blyth near worksop yesterday, excellent wedding venue, probably one of the best venue for miles around.It's famous for it's snowdrops and gardens, great architecture in the middle of countryside, a truly romantic venue! Fantastic opportunities for stunning wedding photography... They both dressed up in vintage clothes, added a great touch to their images!We had a walk round the grounds to do shots in different areas- masses and masses of daffodils looking spectacular!

Wedding fayre at Mosborough Hall

Exhibited at Mosborough Hall Hotel Bridal open day today, it was a fantastic turn out people were queuing to get in most of the day. There were lots of exhibitors who we know The Cake Booth great cakes ,Precious Bridal beautiful bridal gowns,
Ashley Rogers great suits. Mosborough Hall is one of the best hotels in sheffield,it has a mixture of old and new architecture,great for backdrops when taking wedding photographs. It as also some amazing feature bedrooms and lovely food.

Met Paul and Anna at Ringwood Hall Hotel in Chesterfield Derbyshire to do their pre wedding photography shoot.We had a look around the grounds together and as we stopped at different spots took some photographs of the two of them. As you can see they are a lovely couple and they soon relaxed and really enjoyed themselves.Their wedding is this Saturday coming ,I'm looking forward to taking their wedding photographs! Met Justin and Joanne at the Hodsock Priory to have a look around their wedding venue and take some pre wedding photographs.It's an amazing place in which to have your pre wedding photography.The grounds are to die for,the tudor architecture is fab as well .Got some great pre wedding photographs of Justin and Joanne in the gardens.I also got some relaxed and natural photographs of the two of them. Doing a pre wedding shoot is so beneficial for the new bride & groom they are so much more relaxed on their wedding day!

Been to Aston Hall in Sheffield to meet David and his wife to be Rebecca to have a look round their wedding venue and take some pre wedding photographs.It was a freezing cold day at Aston Hall but we still managed to get some relaxed and natural photographs before we all turned blue! Doing a pre wedding shoot is so beneficial for the new bride & groom they are so much more relaxed on their wedding day.

Ringwood Hall Hotel Chesterfield

I have been working for Ringwood Hall Hotel in Chesterfield for many years for their wedding photography and commercial photography. I am now doing all of their room photography shoots throughout the hotel.There are some amazing rooms at ringwood, I have just started to put together a colletion of videos of photographs that I have taken of all their rooms.The three videos that you can see are of the Balborough suite, one of their feature rooms in which wedding couples use on their wedding day. You also can see the Bolsover suite, again a feature room and also room 226 which is a standard room. Hope you enjoy the videos.

Photography course

Went on an MPA photography course yesterday with the master of photographic workflow, Guy Gowan, he is genius an amazing photographer and has lots of the latest innovative ideas and ways to improve images. Lots of technical stuff to remember which was a bit mind blowing! But learned lots of new ways to make our wedding photography and portrait photography stand out from the crowd.

Ryan & rebecca's pre wedding photography shoot at Ringwood Hall Hotel. As there wedding day got closer we met to do a per shoot in the amazing grounds at Ringwood Hall, we walked around the grounds taking photographs in different locations.Ryan and rebecca were so relaxed that getting some amazing photographs of the two of them did not take long at all.I think these few photos of them are so natural!.They are now mr & mrs now everyone from there wedding loved the photograph and added some lovely comments and congratulation around the frame.I hope like it to?

Pre wedding shoot photography of Lizzie & Paul at Ringwood Hall Hotel in Chesterfield! When it comes close to the big day we always do a photo shoot of the couples, this really helps relax them and get them used to the camera. It's always fun and relaxed and a big confidence booster this comes across in their wedding images! Lizzie and Paul were really pleased they took the time to have their pre shoot as they were nervous and apprehensive about their wedding photography. We make them feel at ease, as you can see in these photos their wedding day will be all about being natural and happy!

This photo will be displayed in a mount at their wedding for guests to add their comments and congratulations!

Just got back from Hilton Hotel Sheffield Wedding Show. Brilliant show with fashion shows, 2 floors of exhibitors, everything you could want for an amazing wedding. Lots of friends of our there,Louise and Darren at The cake booth,Lucy from venue design love in a mist, Andy from Katie Peckett florists, Richard from Ido magazine.

A great venue next the quayside with fantastic backdrops for wedding photography.

Bump to baby Photography

Here is a video I have just produced, bump to babies, beautiful images of babies in mums tums and newborn babies. Baby portraits are timeless and can be the most cherished photographs you can have. We like to photograph babies as little as 2 weeks old, a little miracle. At 2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year our photographs create a lovely story of their first year.
